…followed by a huge applause to Madrina Neysi and Madrina Ingrid. Two strong women that received the fruits of their efforts.
After Neysi received her diploma as a teacher two years ago she has been dedicated to the complementary study, and on 22-12-2018 she has received her diploma as Professor and Lic. With a mention in Social Sciences.
CONGRATULATIONS Neysi for going in this long road of 7 years. We know that sometimes was a hard road and we admire a lot the effort that you put in to overcome all the obstacles and achieve your goals.
Madrina Ingrid does not stay behind, she also gave herself a push 5 years ago and she started to study Pshychology. 100% work, have a family, each saturday go to the university, do the homework and satisfy everything and everyone. Either wasn’t sweetness, more in the final phase during the degree course with two modules. With a great breath on 3-12-2018 she has received her diploma as a Lic. in Pshicology. Two beautiful examples that show us that “Never is to Late“.

It hasn’t been an easy year…

…and the Christmas environment makes us feel a deeply pain and sadness because the unnecessary and different loses from different families. In this time of the year mothers, fathers will cry more than ever the death of their sons and daughters, the child’s will miss the loss of their parents. From the bottom of our hearth we are very sorry with the grandmothers, grandfathers, mothers, fathers, sisters, bothers, children’s, girls, uncles, aunts and friends we wish them to be strong, that the hope to be more stronger than mourning that want us to let us fall. Like any other year I wish you health, love and happiness but this year I desire you a 2019 full of peace, since we live in hurt world and just hope can heal it and handle it.

¡Hurray! – ¡Hurray! – ¡Hurray! and again ¡Hurray!

Today was last school day and what a great relief, we entered to the stage of the annual vacations, which will take until the end of January 2019. ¨Come on, cheer up», it’s almost a month, exactly twenty days with one week, just one more week, Once again and we made it. In this way, we have encouraged our children’s who have waited anxiously for the holidays like no other year. It is also for us a great relief, since we won’t have to take a glance to the watch at any moment, we won’t push harder to our children’s in their studies or scholar reinforcement, we won’t have to wash a lot scholar uniforms, we’ll greatly leave aside the scholar shoes for more than two month. JUST ENJOY THE TIME WITH OUR BELOVED. Play, play, play and even more play, take our time to do Christmas craft in a de-stressed environment.
In fact, our new home looks pretty, we are now stablish and we feel comfortable.
Our new children’s, who came to our family three weeks ago, they settled fast and they don’t cry in the entrance anymore, they made a lot friends and enjoy to play in teams.
The most difficult children’s in study, they are now having the rhythm in particular classes; some of them loves classes, so they absorb the knowledge like sponge better than other to whom it takes a little bit more time since they are not use to sit and getting focus on studying for more than a bit, they are more likely the kind of children’s who likes the extended break but they actually learn more with some dynamic games in which include lessons. So here I left you with this great news until the next time

We have move in…

…and if that wasn’t enough, also we had to face to wild virus. After our house at Sabaneta had sunken under water, our patience ran out with the owner. The bad luck started when the wet blessing (the rain) came out from the clogged pipelines at the kitchen, then we got it from the ceiling and finally, the water flooded us in everywhere making the house look like an island in the middle of a huge lake. therefore, the decision was quickly when we had the offer to rent the house next to us, at Tamarindo.
So, in the last three weeks, so, in the last three weeks one thing after another has happened quickly, that I still feel dizzy. We’ve talked with the parents, we’ve done repair work and painting, we’ve organized school transportation for the children from Sabaneta, we have packed our stuff and we’ve move into the new house at Tamarindo.
Eleven girls and boys from Sabaneta we have been able to integrate in the actual childcare of Los Gusanitos Tamarindo I, while groups of 12 girls and boys already have found refuge at the new house-Los Gusanitos Tamarindo II. Actually we have more than 40 girls and boys in a waiting list, they will integrate bit by bit, after complete our furnishings and the painting at Paraíso de Infancia Los Gusanitos Tamarindo II. So, from the middle of November of 2018, we going to take care a total of 90 of girls and boys in both childcare. Once again we overpass the limit of 80 children, buuuuuuuuut first, to Say-Not always have been one of my big weaknesses and second, the new house offers us lot of space
, ;-).
As if the stress of relocation had not been enough, at the same time we’ve been attacked by a wild virus, in that most of our girls and boys and also part of our Madrinas, got sick. the virus is associated with alarmingly high fevers, cough, bronchitis, and some of the cases with pneumonia. Thus, five of our children stayed in the hospital. Three of them suffered of pneumonia and two has to be feed artificially fed. Due to their questionable low weight condition. We’ve attended around of 30 sick children, that sometime we looked like a hospital than a cheerful childcare. The most affected were or children with low weight, that in the last months we have raised their weight to a reasonably acceptable body weight, they suffered the virus, they recovered by a day or two, before that again they got sick. It seems that the worst has already been overcome, because all of them are in the road of recovery, although some of them slightly trembling legs.
By the circumstances really hard that we have lived, also the administrative affairs stayed back, in that way was impossible to write something for the blog or answer emails. I hope your understanding and I convince myself that, slowly we going to be back to certain normality.

With a loving greeting

In the past 4 months…

…our girls and boys has spent every minute of their free time making a beautiful little lamp, with a night table. As can not being from otherwise, the table is made up of a box of paperboard cover by a piece of cloth, ;-).
For first time we have faced our girls and boys to a long-term job, that has demanded a lot of patience, precision and resistance. Starting for the drawings and cutting of the geometric shapes, placing needles in an exactly distance and finally connect needles with thread with great precision. The electric part was made by Javiera and Nicole, after a quick training with our electrician.
To several girls and boys was hard to work meticulously, again and again they had to started over because something goes wrong. Neither was easy for them by not having a quick result. So, they often came to the limit of their patience, but the beautiful result has teaches us that the big effort it was worth it.
